Resident of Backward Area (RBA)	4%	Certificate issued by Tehsildar
Actual Line of Control / International Border (ALC/IB)	4%	Residents of border areas with valid certificate
Children of Defence Personnel / Ex-Servicemen	As per rules	Priority as per Govt. notification
Sports Category	As per rules	Participation certificates at State/National level
NCC / NSS / Cultural Activities	As per rules	Certificates of participation & merit

Important Guidelines

Reservation benefits are applicable only to permanent residents of Jammu & Kashmir Union Territory
Candidates claiming category benefits must produce original certificates at the time of physical verification
If reserved seats remain vacant in a particular category, they may be converted to open merit as per rules
Multiple category claims are allowed only as per the latest Government order (highest priority category considered)
Fake/forged certificates will lead to cancellation of admission and legal action
Final reservation roster is prepared and displayed on the official admission portal / college notice board
